Communities for facilitation learning and training
Workshop facilitation is a people business and the best way to get better is to hang with people in the workshop facilitation business. These communities offer group meetups, activities, and trainings around facilitation.
Facilitator Cards
One of my favorite facilitation communities. Ostensibly built around people who’ve purchased a deck of Facilitator Cards, their events are open to anyone, pleasant, fun, engaging, and educational. They’re active on all the channels, so check their site for your favorite ways to stay in touch, including their Monthly Mailer, email list.
Voltage Control
A busy agency and facilitation conference planner, Voltage Control also offers an active community of facilitators learning together including a weekly Facilitation Lab and a Slack channel for discussion.
The Value Web
A really special community of facilitators. The one I’m newest to, but I thoroughly enjoy the discussion and the events joined by a diverse, global group of warm, caring facilitators.
